CHALLENGE
Shabu restaurant which is located in Bangkok, Thailand. Young women who enjoy eating and posting on social media are the target consumer. The owner wishes for a design that is cute and friendly.

DESIGN APPROACH
Add a wink eye to make the penguin appear more playful.
Playful font style.
Make customers feel the heat of a hotpot by adding stream icon.
Using the color black from a penguin and the color yellow to make people feel hungry and stimulate their appetite.

Japanese visual elements are used to recognize Japanese food.

Die-cut some of the dishes to highlight the recommended menu and to make the overall appear more premium.
To make it look more premium, use black as the dominant color.
